Last night, on February 19, 2025, southeastern Virginia received approximately 12” of snowfall. Unfortunately, the infrastructure in the area is not built to handle that much snow. This storm has been one of the biggest snow events in the Norfolk, Hampton Roads, and Virginia Beach areas in more than a decade.
As a result, few, if any, carriers are making deliveries or picking up shipments today. This situation may impact shipping tomorrow as well.
With this in mind, we wanted to keep you informed as orders scheduled for shipment today (February 20) or tomorrow (February 21) will likely be impacted by this situation.
Rest assured, the Linx team will do everything possible to get these shipments on the road as soon as our carriers become available.
Linx’s facility is open, but is operating at a reduced staffing level.
We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconveniences that may arise as we work through this situation.
